is insurance mandatory for a 25-year-old used car in massachusetts?

I have a 1983 lincoln, and while I know insurance is mandatory in the state of massachusetts, does it change if the car is over a certain age? or used?

1. Yes, it is mandatory....you will also need an inspection sticker...... Insurance will depend on your driving record . A new car will require more insurance then a 1983 so check around for a good rate.
