- No it won't be fixed. If you would have had previous insurance on another vehicle that would have carried over to your new car but you didn't say that you did so it won't be covered. You have to have insurance at the time of the loss.
- If you had insurance on another vehicle before you bought this one, it would have covered it. You should have just called the agent to get it insured, you can do so over the phone. Unfortunately you might be liable for the damage to your car AND theirs if it was a two-car accident and it was your fault. You're screwed, sorry. You might want to call your state to see if theres anything at all you can do or if it would somehow be covered on the dealer's lot insurance policy, but I doubt it.
- Nope - Y.O.D.F. --- You gotta be crazy to be driving without insurance. Hope you learned your lesson.
- No, you cannot obtain insurance coverage for a loss that occurred in the past. Insurance isn't retro-active.
- For auto insurance the best way to get a low rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make sure that you pick similar options with the same limits, car type, zip code, etc so that all options are an accurate comparison. What I most often recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have big name insurers and can give many quotes on auto insurance polices.
