What is the most reliable type of classic car to buy for between £1500 and £3000?
I'm looking to buy a classic car for not too much money (no more than £3000) and was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on a good all rounder. By that I mean one that would be fairly reliable to do a 6 mile round journey to work each day, and wouldn't be massively costly if things went wrong - although I accept that with an older car there is always a price to pay, oh and not too costly on the insurance. So far I've been looking at MGs and Porches, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
