why is car insurance cheaper for woman ?i know lots of woman say there safer drivers but i dont think thats always the case

2. its all about statistics. They use purely mathmatical priciples to put you into a category and decide what level of rist you are. Men tend to pay closer attention and have less stupid fender-bender type accidents, but they are more liekly to drive agressively and cause major accidents with huge medical bills so the cost of the accidents are higher. Insurance rates are all about statistics.

9. It's a risk based business with the price determined on statistics incorporating everything related to the car (post code, garaged, desirability,drivers record, engine size,etc). A 17 year old female will get a cheaper quote than her twin brother based on the statistic that states young women have fewer accidents than young men. After a year of incident free driving the quotes would be more similar and cheaper as both would have proved they are less of a risk.

I would be very unhappy to have the system any different as it would make my insurance far more expensive.

BUT heres why it may seem as if woman get better rates... woman tend to have less tickets and accidents then men, therefore they pay less in car insurance. also, men tend to drive sports cars, trucks and suvs which are more expensive to insure. if i changed the sex of someone in my quote the premium DOES NOT change.

Women are careful unlike men coz I even eat burger while driving and my friend use to shave with electrical shaver while driving coz he is always getting late from work and so as I.
