where can i find cheap car insurance for someone who is 18 and basically lives on thier own?

my boyfriend's parents are kicking him off their insurance and he needs to find it for cheap in only a couple of days. any ideas...i tried geico,esurance and some others but its still too expensive.

1. try progressive.com or shelter insurance. I have been with shelter since I was 16 and on my own, they have been very cheap.
2. Well, it's NOT cheap, no matter where you go. He can get quotes from progressive.com, or go to a local agent. But at 18, it's probably going to be Progressive, Geico, Leader Infinity, or some other higher risk company.
3. No doubt the easiest way to get insurance quotes is on the web. Why would you waste your time on the phone calling around? the last time i needed quotes on insurance i used one of these comparison sites and it was great. this is the site i used and it was quick like less than 5 mins. The last thing I want to do is listen to elevator music while waiting for a salesman. Anyway I got good quotes and ended up saving money so I was happy. 4. You may want to try Farm Bureau and Liberty Mutual as well. Call a local independant agent that works with dozens of insurance companies. They can check prices for you on all of the companies in their network. Best wishes, Dennis
