Any websites that can comapre insurance rates for different cars?

I am looking at new cars and this information would be very useful. Obviously rates depend a lot on the person getting the insurance. I am not looking for an exact number, just looking an easy way to compare rates based on different cars.

1. An easy way to shop the market to find a competitive rate is to go online and yahoo search "online auto insurance quotes" , or something similar. You will get a selection of companies that offer free online quotes, with minimum information required, from up to five different agents or brokers (who can represent as many as 30-40 different insurance companies each) Do that a few times and you have now searched the market from approx 15 agents or brokers and up to 150 different insurance carriers with minimum effort on your part! 3. The problem is with comparison sites, they often take a commission for getting the quote. So it may be easier to use a one page comparison site, but there is no Guarantee you will get the best deal. Some companies like Direct Line for instance do not participate in comparison websites. So there is the easy way and the best way!
