teen car insurance?

hi how much did your car insurance go up by when you added your teen? and also, do you think parents should pay for some of it or which parts parents should pay for (the car, insurance, drivers training) i asked my dad if he would pay for any of it and he said no. so i said i was going to get a job to pay for it myself but then he said he wouldn't let me get one if i was going to use it for anything car related. i need to drive to get to the poverty house for volunteering, also for the leadership program at school and to drive home from practice and my parents don't have time (or want) to drive me.

1. i'd say screw youeither let me get a job to pay for it or you pay it, or yu drive me were i need to go my dad makes me pay for all my insurance and its about 360 bucks for just liability, i havnt taken drivers ed though so it probably helps if you have pardon my language but stuff like that kinda makes me mad
2. So he does'nt want to pay for your insurance... and does'nt want you to have a job - if - it's to pay for car insurance... ...Sounds to me like he does'nt want you driving... Do you have a car - and your license yet ? or would it be your dads you would be driving because if its your dads perhaps he needs it and thats why he doesnt want you to drive it ? If this is the case get a job and pay for your car and insurance... Good Luck :)
