For Car insurance, do named drivers have to live at the same address as the main driver?
My sister who will be the main driver is living at a different address as me (the named driver)

- If you are both adults, you can live apart and be covered. The "must be at same address" rule is for minors who must live at their parents house. To be certain, it would be best to call the insurance company
- no you don't have to live at the same address as I am insured on a few of my mates cars although i would ring the insurance company as they will probably need to take your details.
