Can anyone with a teenager(s) living with a custodial parent answer this?

My friend has a son in college and a son living with his mother still. They live in the same small town less than 3 blocks away and they never stop in and see him. He pays thousands in child support and cars. He pays all the medical and dental, pays all the insurance for their cars and health. He pays their credit card bill every month. He thinks its normal for teenage boys to be to busy to stop in and see their dad. They have not been to his house for months and only stop in when they want money. Is he right? Do most teen boys ignore their dad?

4. No He is being ignored. Why did he buy them cars. They should have worked , saved and bought their own cars. He is enabling them to treat him like a bank. Cut them off period.
