Teen Car Insurance?

I'm 17 years old an about to get my license. Does anyone know about how much teen insurance costs? I'm a girl and I have a 3.9 (unweighted) GPA. I know it's not possible to give me an exact number because it depends on many factors, but im just wondering about what it costs? Like a price range maybe? Thanks!

1. well it your rates wont be through the roof because your a girl, but it really depends on the insurance company, how old the car is, and your GPA. I think for most insurance companys, to get a discount your GPA must be at 3.25 or higher. I drive a 17 yr old car and only pay 60 a month for insurance + i'm 16. i know friends who have brand new cars that pay around $200 a month on insurance for their cars, but they are guys
2. depends are you going to have collison coverage and comprensive coverage if you are you are looking at around 1000 to 1200 every 6 months trying getting put onto your parents policy. if you are going to go for liablility only you are looking at around 600 to 700. Numbers may be a little high but they are close to the range you will bhe in
3. i paid about $150 a month and i got it on the road when i was 16. im a girl too.
