average price of used cars in Canada and insurance for them?

We are moving in Canada and wondering what are teh price of used cars ( 10 years old) and what is approximately the cost of the insurance.

1. Every area, insurance costs are different. Keep in mind that in Toronto area it is the most expensive for car insurance. Cause it has the most population. Cars that are 10yrs old are not expensive. Cars from Japan cost around 7, 000 dollars CDN. You can get a Japan car that is yr 2000 or 2001 for that price. Don't get a car that is 10 years old. Here in Canada the cars dont last that long cause of our weather. Too much salt on the roads in the winter time ruin our cars here in Canada. Good Luck

(Once you get your car call many different insurance brokers in your area-- their prices can vary by a huge ammount!)
